Episode #83 The Healthy Hustle with Rachel Feldman

Today I am pleased to have Rachel Feldman on the show.  Rachel is a business coach who works with lifestyle online business coaches and brick and mortar businesses to help them grow the business of their dreams from the ground up, using free tools, and with little money.

In the years prior to the launching of her business, Rachel was in Commercial Real Estate, a profession she loved.  When she began to have personal health issues and realized that the health industry has a one-cure-fits-all attitude, Rachel knew that one day she would be helping people in the health and lifestyle field.   

Things took a turn for her when her family lost everything due to the crash in the stock market, and she had a decision to make – go back to Commercial Real Estate, or find her passion and create something new.  Without any experience, she started building her health coach business with a website and videos, and because she was afraid to speak in public, YouTube. Little did she know, she was building her online presence, and people were finding her via her online videos.  

She goes on to explain how to create your niche, by sharing your message and story, identifying what problems you are solving, and expressing it in a way that others can relate to. 

About a year ago, Rachel made the switch from being a health coach, to being a business launch coach.

For a successful sales funnel, here is Rachel’s list of must haves:

  • Having 5-15 entry points, such as challenges, opt-in freebie, an audio, checklists,  giveaways, raffles etc. to diversify your message and delivery to appeal to as many people as possible.
  • Nurturing according to the nature of the entry point.
  • Focussing on your client customer experience.

Episode #82 Amplify Your Dreams with Yasemin Inal

Today I am pleased to have Yasemin Inal on the show.  Yasemin is a Certified High Performance Coach, the Founder of Amplify Your Dreams, Biz Strategist and International Speaker.

For Yasemin, High Performance means becoming your best version, becoming the person you were destined to become. In the Certified High Performance Coaching world, the definition is  reaching and maintaining higher levels of clarity, energy, courage, productivity and influence – the five main pillars.  But life happens, and Yasemin emphasizes that it is not necessary to maintain high levels in the five pillars all the time, but instead do your best at your own pace, and take the steady road towards your goals.

Becoming a Certified Higher Performance Coach is a process that involves much more than an online course.  It is a comprehensive training that has taken several decades to develop and perfect.  

Yasemin’s program is a 12 week program that she delivers over a period of 6 months –  1 week of heavy coaching alternating with a check-in week.  Her clients have full access to her during the six months.  Together, they go through the main five pillars and then go into the mastery of these areas.  She also encourages them to learn to self coach, both for themselves, and for others. Since high performance is intricately tied to mindset, there is a great deal of emphasis on this as well.

Episode #81 Publicity with Purpose with Heather DeSantis

Today I am pleased to have Heather DeSantis on the show. Heather does Public Relations for small and mid-size companies, in particular entrepreneurs that would like to be internationally known for their cause and mission.

Heather is currently working on a variety of different PR projects including several big media tours for clients.  As well, in honor of Random Acts of Kindness Week, she has created a media campaign contest to drive awareness for a group called In between Girls, which raises awareness for Tween Girls and will allow its founder to share her message nationally and locally in a big way during a period of two weeks.

She also is attending two of the largest media conferences in order to meet some people in the media to best serve her clients.  

Having a great passion for working with people who have a great purpose, Heather is growing a Facebook group called Publicity with Purpose.  This group will be posting free media leads.  Members of the group can comment on the lead links that they feel might be a good fit for them, and Heather and her team will give them free publicity.  

Her start in PR began when she worked at an advertising agency for three years.  There she was involved in media promotions for food brands, NFL networks and Yahoo sports.   She left in June 2015 with full intentions of becoming an entrepreneur.  She began her business in earnest in April 2016.  While there has been great ease in her first year in terms of referrals and growth, there have also been challenges too.  Specifically, in learning what works for her, controlling her spending, not doing what everyone else is doing just because and so on.  

Her model focuses on discovering her client’s key message, who is their ideal consumer, buyer and follower, and find out the most direct way to serve that person.  With the online market being over saturated, Heather brings her clients together with people who really resonate with their message and need them in person.  She also gets her clients’ calendars booked with interviews, and writes their content as well.
