Have you ever wondered how to impact the world using your gifts and talents? On today’s episode of Financial Fluency, I have the pleasure of speaking with Cameo Gore, an intuitive success coach. In her line of work, she uses high-level business strategies to help online and brick-and-mortar businesses with growth and development. She helps develop businesses with the heart over hustle mindset. In her own business, Cameo mentions on the show that she loves working with coaches that have an intuitive side and understand energy, in addition to having a highly-strategic side.

Before jumping into entrepreneurship, Cameo worked as a registered nurse and had a career in the medical field. She tells me that she left a high-level job as the Director of Surgery at a pediatric hospital in the Bay Area to pursue a freedom-based business. She stepped away from corporate so she could redistribute her time and priorities with her family.

Right after leaving her corporate job, she went straight into strategy in addition to personal development. She quickly realized her strength was working with energy. For Cameo, energy work is aligning your energy with higher-vibrational frequencies so you can a match for the most incredible things to come into your life.

Episode #106 – One More Woman with Jennifer Love

Do you know what, how, and when to measure and track key performance indicators (KPIs) in your business? Today on Financial Fluency, I’m excited to have Jennifer Love with me. Jennifer is an entrepreneur, advisor, and CEO and founder of One More Woman. Jennifer has advised Fortune 200 businesses, celebrities, and high-performing entrepreneurs. She’s even helped raise over $100 million in venture capital funding.

On the show, Jennifer tells me how her entrepreneurial career began. She was in graduate school studying to be CIA/FBI strategist when she received an interesting project: write a business plan for a casino. Jennifer admits she had no clue how to write a business plan. Twenty years ago, there wasn’t much available at her fingertips online. So she turned to books and working with the casino to understand the mindset of the customers. After Jennifer had submitted her proposal, the casino funded it.

Today, Jennifer strives to make sure women entrepreneurs do not feel alone. When women lack confidence or devalue themselves in business, it translates into how much money they make. So Jennifer created what she wished she had back in the day, One More Woman. Episode #103 – Multiple Streams of Income with Cassie Parks

What would you do if $10,000 showed up in your bank account tomorrow? That’s a question my guest, Cassie Parks asks on today’s episode of Financial Fluency. Cassie is a best-selling author, entrepreneur, and founder of Manifest $10,000. On the show, Cassie shares how she made and manifested money by building multiple streams of income. She also explains the importance of rewarding yourself when you’ve been successful.

Cassie’s journey started when she was still working her corporate job and bought a house with bedrooms she could rent out. She found she could more than pay the mortgage with the rent she was collecting, and when the roommates moved out she decided to downsize her own living situation to a studio apartment so she could rent the entire house out. From there it was onwards and upwards as she added more rental properties to her portfolio. This way when she was ready to leave her corporate job to start her entrepreneurial career, she already had a source of significant income on her side. She capitalized on her entrepreneurial spirit and mindset to help her achieve her goals. Cassie found a coaching process she loved and started to work on her money mindset. With this, Cassie realized she could change things if she changed the way she thought. Cassie attributes her success to her money mindset and following her intuition in her real estate investing.

Our discussion covered the importance of creating multiple streams of income and working on your money mindset. Cassie recalls when she started to change her own mindset and habits. She stopped going to Target and the clearance racks, spending $200 on items she didn’t need. She says, when she learned to invest in what made her happy, she ended up with rental properties and a big pile of money.

Cassie’s Money Mindset Tips

  1. Use your imagination. Visualize and tap into what it would be like to have $10,000k in your account. The “how” isn’t your job. Get crystal clear on what it looks like to have more money and make the small changes to be that person.
  2. Modify the words you use. Look at the words “spend” and “invest.” The word “spend” has a negative feeling to it. When you start thinkings of purchases as investments, you end up feeling more in control of your money.  
  3. Experience some of the abundance, don’t wait. Be the person who has money instead of trying to be the person with money. Practice being that person by experience some of the things you want. If you can’t afford the $100 dinner, go out for happy hour or an appetizer instead and feel the ambiance instead of waiting.
